Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ChampsPath iOS application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on any iOS device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. Unofficial Fan App — No Affiliation
ChampsPath is an unofficial fan-made companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any national football federation, any club, broadcaster, sponsor, or any other rights holder. "FIFA", "FIFA World Cup", team names, badges, kits, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used in the App solely for identification and informational purposes within the scope of fair use for fan-made software.
3. Third-Party Content
The App may display or link to information sourced from public sources and third-party services (including but not limited to ESPN, Wikipedia, federation websites, and public match data). Such information is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of any third-party material accessed through the App.
4. User Content
Notes, predictions, and other content you create in the App are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. You retain ownership of any content you create. You are solely responsible for your own content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's content delivery infrastructure
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
6. Updates
We may release updates that add, modify, or remove features at any time, with or without notice. Updates are distributed through the App Store and may be required for continued use of the App.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT MATCH DATA, FIXTURES, OR RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (WHICH MAY BE ZERO).
9. Apple-Specific Terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall govern with respect to your use of the App on Apple devices. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time without notice or liability.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ankara, Türkiye.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
